My mom has high blood pressure and i worry about it,so what is a possible cure if enough research is put into it?
http://curehighbloodpressurenaturally.info is a website that deals with curing high blood pressure naturally through breathing exercises. There’s been research proving that if you can use your own breathing to calm yourself down and de-stress, you can successfully lower your blood pressure. It’s great for people who don’t want to take drugs or be on medicines for the rest of their life.
I just took our blood pressure on one of the little automatic home monitors, honestly, I have been trying to find it because I was a bit worried about him.
He’s 58, over 6ft, not overweight, he’s usually a bit breathless on exertion (smoker), but he’s started having some headaches lately, and saying it’s too hot when I don’t think it’s hot in the house, so I was wondering about his heart and his blood pressure and I hunted down the monitor.
It measured me at 110/62 (I’m 40 and female) but it measured him at 116/107 - that diastolic is way too high isn’t it? I know he’s older and older people do have higher diastolic pressure, but I didn’t think he was really old enough for it to be that high.
At 58 (drinker/smoker) it this real bad at his age or just a bit high and something we could cure with lifestyle changes?
Thank you.
A difference of 9 mm Hg from the systolic (116) to the diastolic (107) blood pressure suggests an erroneous reading. There is only one medical study that I know of which compared various over-the-counter blood pressure units against a mercury weighted blood pressure unit. The 2 which displayed the most consistent accuracy and reproducibility were the Omron and the ReliOn. Consumer Reports rated the ReliOn as a ‘Best Buy’ as it is less expensive. Bear in mind that we have no data on wrist units only on blood pressure units that are applied to the upper arm. If I may be of further assistance please let me know. I wish you both the very best of health and in all things may God bless.
A friend of mine was told he has Moderate to High levels of Protein in his urine. He went in to the doctor specifically because of the symptom of "Foamy Urine".
He is in generally good health.

? He is overweight but not obese.
? He has high blood-pressure that is 95% under control.
His doctor gave him a short term prescription for an additional blood pressure medication because it was high when he went in a few days ago and then told him that he would see him in a month to check his symptoms again and do some more blood work.
? He has no history of unprotected sex with unknown partners.
He has only had 1 sexual partner in the last few years and that was my aunt that contracted Hepatitis A or B from a blood transfusion back in the late 1990’s.
? He has never done any drugs… I don’t think he has even tried Marijuana.
? He doesn’t drink alcohol, well, he has about 2 beers or glasses of wine a year.
? He has anxiety and depression that he refuses to get treated.
? He eats out a lot and knows he eats too much meat.
? The doctor ruled out diabetes.

My friend is FREAKING OUT thinking that he has, like, renal failure and I’m trying to get some hard data on Proteinuria.
From what I’ve read, the causes can be anything from just eating too much meat combined with the heat wave all the way to ‘You have AIDS’.
He has been under a lot of stress in general due to his high pressure job and family concerns like paying for college for his two girls, alimony, house payments, the IRS, etc. He has rather severe depression and anxiety but refuses to get that treated because… Well… Because he is male and therefore kinda’ retarded.
The heat has been HORRIBLE for the last week or two and that has hit him hard.
His doctor is a really good doctor (My father goes to him as well) and I keep telling him that if his doctor thought he was about to die from renal failure or a kidney tumor etc. he wouldn’t have been sent home with 30 days worth of extra pills and an appointment for a month from now.
I know I’m going on but I want you to know everything because my friend is REALLY worried and that caused him to not sleep last night and have anxiety today…
ANY advice for him would be greatly appreciated.
your correct in what you have learned so far. here’s the thing. your friend is now worried, it’s only going to make him worry more the more he reads up on this. so my advise is to let him speak to the physician again about his concern and what he can do to be proactive about it. when he see’s him in a month, that’s the opportunity, and should not be wasted, advise your friend to eat healthy, and to drink water. maybe don’t overdo it on the protein consumption. and stop worrying. practically nobody is perfect in the lab values in all areas does no good to obsess over it.
My blood pressure varied from DIASTOLIC 85 – 120 and SYSTOLIC 125 – 160. These values were noted within a month. My age is 27 yrs, Height 178 cm, Weight 84 kg. Further i got a comprehensive blood and urine tests which showed following abnormalities:
1)TSH : 17.98 µIU/ml
2)BILIRUBIN (INDIRECT) : 0.95 mg/dL
3)ALANINE TRANSAMINASE (SGPT) : 45.50 u/L
4)TRIGLYCERIDES : 232.10 mg%
5)VLDL CHOLESTROL : 46.42 mg%
6)LDL/HDL Ratio : 1.21
7)HEMOGRAM report says : MACROCYTOSIS
Can anyone guide me weather the problem is serious one. Should i go for Allopathy or Ayurveda for permanent cure. I wish to undergo some natural treatment.
Ask your doctor if you have diabetes
I am patient of high blood pressure for the last 22 years and now it has been observed that i have cyst in my left kidney..I shall thank , if someone can suggest the remedy either nature cure or ayurvedic or homeopath and suggest good diet to keep kidneys healthy..I am pure veg no drink, no smoke.
Why do you want to treat it when it doesn’t bother you?
Kidney cysts dont need any treatment unless they are very large and cause problems. Incidentally, they can’t be cured with medicines, only operation or removing the fluid with a needle (by a doctor) will give a cure.

First line treatment is actually lifestyle changes such as diet (eating healthily, reduce sodium consumption), weight control and exercise. Limiting alcohol consumption and stopping smoking are important too. Sometimes this is enough to reduce BP to an optimal level. However, if not, there are no other ‘alternative’ ways. If it worked, it wouldn’t be alternative would it? If lifestyle changes fail to reduce your BP then anti-hypertensive medication is the only other option.
What are the physical symptoms of High Blood Pressure and Diabetics? It is suggested that walking for an hour a day cures both High B.P as well as Diabetics. Is it true?
High Blood Pressure Symptoms
High blood pressure usually causes no symptoms.
•Even if high blood pressure does cause symptoms, the symptoms are usually mild and nonspecific (vague, or suggesting many different disorders).
•Thus, high blood pressure often is labeled "the silent killer."
•People who have high blood pressure typically don’t know it until their blood pressure is measured.
Sometimes people with high blood pressure have the following symptoms:
•Headache
•Dizziness
•Blurred vision
•Nausea
Walking will definately lower high blood pressure. Also lowers glucose levels plus a added benefit of lowering Cholesterol.
But Nordic walking is the best.
Description
Nordic walking can be done year round in any climate and anywhere a person of any age or ability might otherwise walk without poles. It combines simplicity and accessibility of walking with simultaneous core and upper body conditioning similar to Nordic skiing. The result is a full-body walking workout that can burn significantly more calories without a change in perceived exertion or having to walk faster, due to the incorporation of many large core, and other upper-body muscles which comprise more than 90% of the body’s total muscle mass and do work against resistance with each stride. ‘Normal walking’ utilizes less than 70% of muscle mass with full impact on the joints of the legs and feet.
Nordic Ski Walking produces up to a 46% increase in energy consumption compared to walking without poles.[1]
Benefits
Compared to regular walking, Nordic walking involves applying force to the poles with each stride. Nordic walkers use more of their entire body (with greater intensity) and receive fitness building stimulation not as present in normal walking for the chest, lats, triceps, biceps, shoulder, abdominals, spinal and other core muscles. This extra muscle involvement leads to enhancements over ordinary walking at equal paces such as:
increased overall strength and endurance in the core muscles and the entire upper body
significant increases in heart rate at a given pace
greater ease in climbing hills
burning more calories than in plain walking
improved balance and stability with use of the poles
significant un-weighting of hip, knee and ankle joints
effective weight bearing exercise - creates positive total body bone density-preserving stress
I use plain old wooden sticks, works well>
Kewl!
My Bp went from 150 over 90 to 118/68 Just by Nordic Walking<

Erectile dysfunction is a disease that is often believed to be popping from the mind. Many people feel the problem lies with the mind or the partner. Many a time’s external pressures are also to be blamed. It is true that all of these conditions can lead to ED, but the chances are rare. Contrary to popular belief a huge majority of the ED causes are physical; rather than mental. This fact has been proved and attested time and again by a number of tests and surveys.
It is quite an asking task to pinpoint the physical ED causes. They might differ from person to person. Some common factors that might trouble a man with ED are obesity, heart ailments, diabetes, surgeries etc. Sometimes the medications of certain ailments may also lead to erectile dysfunction. The irony is that most of the above mentioned ailments except obesity are common after a man has crossed the age of forty. Even erectile dysfunction tends to affect a person at around this age only. Impotence along with the heart ailments are quite common in the men who are past their middle age. The matter of concern is that it has been found that the medications for the heart ailments like high blood pressure might also lead to ED. This kind of a situation might land a person in quite a fix because the oral ED pills that are more commonly prescribed by the doctors for treating ED do not go down well with heart ailment medications. This is particularly true for the people whose drugs contain nitrate. When ED drugs interact with nitrate constituting drugs, they can lead to dangerous side effects. Thus, on the apparent level it seems that there is no way out for people who are living with the co existence of heart troubles and ED in their biology.
ED is not the disease that it used to be earlier. Today, it is openly discussed and so are its treatments. The people who are thought to be intolerant to the ED pills for some reason or the other can go for alternative ED cures. However, they should do so only on doctor’s advice. Going for ED medications on one’s own can be disastrous. One should particularly avoid the ED drugs that are a mere copy of Viagra or other famous ED pills. In case one is ready to decrease a considerable amount from one’s bank account, one can go for other ED treatments like surgeries that are a sure shot answer to ED.
ED drug Levitra is one drug that is comparatively tolerant for people with old age problems like diabetes and heart ailments. But there can be exceptions and that is why one should go for the drug only when one gets the Levitra prescription. Bayer Levitra also has almost the same dangerous side effects like its counterparts and hence should not be had randomly. While you buy levitra online you will be asked for the prescription and in case you are allowed to buy levitra without prescription you need to be wary of the source!
