I normally don’t have high blood pressure but since I have had this massive headache for a few days that no pill will cure, I got my blood pressure checked at the pharmacy. It was 136/100. Is it high because of the headache or did the headache cause it? I have got it checked with my GP before but it is always fine when I get it checked there. When I stand up it is higher than sitting and I know when I stand up it is as if my head is going to explode and I can hear my heartbeat in my ears at night sometimes. Is this all related to blood pressure problems? I need honest helpful answers here, only answer if you can help. I am 42 and both my parents have high blood pressure, my mothers is really really high.
Don’t fool around with high blood pressure. Go to the doctor. My son was only 16 when he first got high blood pressure. He had a heart attack at 36. See a doctor. High blood pressure runs in our family, too.

your blood pressure rises when you stand to make up for the shift in gravity and the need for blood to your brain. you need to go to the doctor before you have a stroke or heart attack. if you were sitting at the pharmacy and it was 136/100 (machine could be wrong) imagine what it is when you are working or breaking a sweat. if you know someone who can take it by hand tonight, do it. if the bottom number is over 110, go to the er right away, otherwise go to your doc tomorrow just to make sure all is well, you may need to take a pill, no big deal. and yes it is genetic too. headache is a symptom as well as the other symptoms you described, they are textbook symptoms of high blood pressure.

Yes, High blood pressure could cause headaches and also stress. You should relax, and eat right while your still young. Other wise, you could have problems when you get older. As of now, all you really need is a pill. But in your case, I wouldn’t really take any chances. So go see a doctor! And don’t over stress yourself too much. Then you should be just fine.
