Eating oatmeal lowers cholesterol but i am not sure how effective it is at lowering blood pressure.
When a woman is pregnant and has high blood pressure she needs to work very closely with her Dr to get it under control. Often having the baby takes the blood pressure back to normal.

Reduce fatty fried foods eat healthy real foods ask her to stay away from the packaged precooked garbage we poison ourselves with. And have her take time for herself that will reduce the stress she maybe feeling. Those simple things should make a difference in the BP

Avoid salt. Don’t put on excess weight. Yea I’d walk. Forget soft drinks, and junk food–all crackers chips, buy veg without salt. Stay hydrated, get your sleep at night. Avoid stress. Meditation and prayer are so good. Pet your pet.
