I’m a 23 yr old male 5′11 175 …have type 1 diabetes i eat healthy have my blood sugar under control the only thing is my blood pressure is still high…. 137/70 with medication (lisinopril) I basically have a controlled weight and diet. I don’t get much exercise but want to start. What are some other good ways to lower blood pressure naturally?

Your BP is not so high that you should worry about it. Stress, diet soda, caffeine will all cause your BP to rise. You say you are diabetic so you no doubt drink diet soda. Look at the sodium content on the can. Diet is loaded with salt so if you drink soda you are taking in salt. Stress and caffeine will raise it also. You ask about your numbers here so I see they worry you (stress) stop worrying, it’s not life threatening. Just follow your diet, check for sodium in foods & drinks and no caffeine. Don’t stress about it. You’re ok.

your every thing is in control. since u mentiomned ur bp 137/70, it’s seems that ur way of testing the bp is wrong. get it proper checked regularly. if it is right then try early morning walk for about 2-3 km. reduce salt ant sour items in ur diet and if u are manage activate ur sex life for 3-4 times per week.
    it will really help.

Following life style guidelines to lower blood pressure, that is limit intake of alcohol (if you are a drinker), quit smoking or at-least reduce (if your are smoker), have smart food that lower your blood pressure, have some regular exercise.

My suggestion is to follow some of the alternative medicines such as herbs, homeopathy, yoga, acupressure and reflexology for better and safer blood pressure reduction.
