Levodyn, a B-blocker, doesn’t lower blood pressure per se, it slows your heart down so that it is percieved that your blood pressure was lowered. As you increase physical activity, your heart actually does not come up to the rhythm it would normally have as it would if not influenced by a B-blocker. Blood pressure medications are amongst the most dangerous of medications. It is estimated that each year 200,000 Americans are either killed or injured by B-blockers. B-blockers usher in more meds.
