Best way is to relax and avoid stress. Try to be honest & ethical in all dealings. This practice depends on your age factor. Have some space for you and relax with classical music. It will help you better and you will see your blood pressure levels under control over a period of 2 to 3 months.

Those remedies you are mentioning don’t work. where’s the biological evidence? blood pressure is controlled by the kidneys and primarily involves sodium and pottasium regulation. The only real "cure" for high blood pressure is losing weight, chaning your diet, or if your condition is genetic, mediicine.
I think the remedies you mention seem to work because they make you relax and therefore lower your blood pressure. remember that correlation does not equal causation.

I see lots of good answers here. The one issue of potassium and sodium in our diet can be best addressed with food. Eating more fruit can help here. Most of the berries have potassium. Probably you can find a chart somewhere. The main thing is too have around 4400 mg of potassium daily balanced against around 2300 mg of sodium. Reduction of sodium helps many because they take in too much, but many do not eat enough of the fruits or other foods containing potassium, so the effort in reduction of sodium alone does not pay off as well.
One canned food with potassium is the low sodium V8. It uses potassium chloride in place of sodium chloride.
Two things have worked for me. A reduction in systolic pressure came for me within hours of using Ganoderma lucidum. This is also called Reishi in Japan and Lingzhi in China.
The other is even easier. Breathing on a pattern. This comes from Qigong. Establish a pattern of inhaling while expanding your abdomen and exhaling more slowly, keeping to a rate of six cycles per minute or every ten seconds. For example, inhale for three seconds and exhale for seven. Doing this for several minutes a couple of times a day will help calm you. For me, it brought my blood pressure down from 145/90 to 138/80 in less than a week.
There is another one from acupuncture. This is easily tested. Inserting a needle at a certain point on the fold of the elbow has also reduced my blood pressure. Don’t try this one at home.

I would not waste time on those things you found personally if in your shoes. this is serious and need attention.
take organic cayenne tincture or tea (if you must use capsules but they are not as good as tinctures (1st) or teas (2nd) together with raw garlic.
The two together reduce plague on the arteries. when the plague is removed gradually, then the arteries and veins will widen and thus the blood pressure will go down like a wider hose requiring less pressure.

I think fatty fish might have been one but I would double-check this.

I am a CNA and an EMT. It’s impossible to have a blood pressure that’s 100/170. The top number should always be bigger than the bottom. A regular blood pressure would be somewhere between (130-100)/(90-60). But of course that differs for everyone. I would suggest taking some health classes and quit eating greasy food!

Though natural ways are good and safe but are meant for borderline HT.
According to now guideline, such B.P. Is more then borderline. So start good anti hypertensive drug after consulting your doctor.
Keep ‘Natural ways’ in supportive role.
